π Getting Started
Installation
Add Mission Control to your existing MoltBot workspace:
- Fork this repository to your GitHub account
- Copy dashboard files to your workspace:
index.html,data/,canvas/,scripts/,.github/ - Enable GitHub Pages in your repo settings (Settings β Pages β Branch: main)
- Visit
https://[username].github.io/mission-control/
Connect to GitHub
Click
"Connect GitHub" in the top right
corner. You'll need a GitHub Personal Access Token with
repo permissions.
- Go to GitHub Settings β Tokens
- Click "Generate new token (classic)"
- Select scope:
repo(Full control of private repositories) - Copy the token and paste it in Mission Control
Understanding the Board
Mission Control uses a Kanban-style board with these columns:
- π Recurring - Cron jobs that run on schedule
- π Scheduled - One-time tasks with a future date
- π Templates - Reusable task templates
- π Backlog - Tasks waiting to be started
- π In Progress - Currently being worked on
- π Review - Done, awaiting approval
- β Done - Completed tasks

All changes are automatically saved to GitHub. No manual "Save" button needed!

Drag & Drop
Click and drag any task card to move it between columns. The status updates automatically.
Subtasks
Break down tasks into smaller steps. Click on a subtask to edit it inline.
Comments
Add comments to tasks for context or feedback. Comments on Review tasks trigger notifications to MoltBot.
Projects & Tags
Organize tasks by project. Use the βοΈ Settings to add new projects. Filter tasks using the project buttons.
π€ MoltBot Integration
Mission Control is connected to MoltBot via webhooks. When you make changes:
- Move task to "In Progress" β MoltBot receives a work order and starts processing
- Add comment on Review task β MoltBot sees your feedback
- MoltBot completes work β Task moves to "Review" automatically
π‘ Pro Tip: Write clear task descriptions and
subtasks. The more detail you provide, the better MoltBot can
execute the task.

Why don't I see my changes?
GitHub Pages can cache content. Try a hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R) or open in an incognito window.
How do I create a new project?
Click the βοΈ Settings button (when logged in) β Add a new project with ID, name, icon, and color.
Can multiple people use this?
Yes! Anyone with repo access can connect their GitHub token. Changes from all users sync automatically.
